The Boundless Compassion of Christ

Apr 12, 2026    Aaron Russo

Main Idea: Jesus' compassion is boundless, and his provision is extravagant.

- 1 Cor. 2:9-10

I. Jesus foreshadows the grace of God poured out to the Gentiles (nations). (29-31)

- Isa. 35:5-6

II. Jesus prepares his disciples for their future commission to the nations. (32-36)

-John 6:35; 10:14-16

III. Jesus' outpouring of grace exceeds the need of those who receive it> (37-39)

Suggested Psalms for prayer and meditation: 103, 145.

-Spend some time looking at both miracles side by side. What differences and similarities do you see?

-Who are the "unlikely recipients" of grace in our community? With whom is your compassion most challenged?

- How should the reality of "more-than-enough grace" shape the way we treat outsiders, skeptics, or those far from God?
