by John Calvin
This classic work is intimidating to many because it's long, and it's old. But Calvin is much more accesible than most people realize. Because Calvin was first and foremost a pastor rather than an academic theologian, his writing is deliberately straightforward and clear, and his reflections are challenging, encouraging, and sometimes pretty funny (especially when addressing his opponents).
Each week we'll read a small section (about 10-12 pages) to discuss on Tuesdays at 6 AM, along with coffee, mutual encouragement, and prayer. Please join us!
